A large part of my current journey has been about making space for paradox and opposing forces.
My studies on bringing my anima (feminine component of personality) and animus ( masculine component) toward wholeness has me reading everything from Jungian theory to Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus.
For the past year my work has incorporated patterns of crosses which are used to illustrate several Jungian ideas on superior/inferior functions and an ancient Christian symbol of hope and renewal. The tension inherent in the directional pull combined with the crossroads imagery is just now coming into my conscious but I suspect has been percolating for some time now.
Floral imagery has been showing up in my work and home. Of note, flowers are both male and female.
